English Summer courses (4-17)

Join us in the holidays for a play-filled English language experience! Each one-week course is based around a different storybook which will appeal to your child’s imagination and provide a fun learning adventure. We explore the story topics and characters through songs, games, drama and arts and crafts. Through the daily routines and engaging activities, we will help your child build confidence in an English speaking environment. Our specially trained teachers will help your child feel safe and secure and help build their creativity, communication and thinking skills. Our young learner assistants provide additional support to making your child feel comfortable throughout the day.   

For children who are 4 or 5 by December 2025

Course information: Story-based course in the morning; afternoon activities include movement, arts and crafts, gardening, games, cookery and more – all through English. Some of the story-based content will be based on Twinkl story originals.

• Time: 25 hours per week, 5 hours per day
• Class: 10.00-13.00
• Afternoon activities: 14.00-16.00
• Drop off between 09.00-10.00, pick up between 16.00-18.00

We explore the story topics and characters through a wide variety of activities including songs, language games, drama and arts and crafts. Our specially trained teachers will help your child feel safe and secure and help build their creativity, communication and thinking skills. Through the daily routines and engaging activities, we will help your child build confidence in understanding and responding in English.

For children who are 6 or 7 by December 2025

Happy learners make confident speakers! There are many reasons your child will love our classes: 

• lots of time to practise speaking English, having fun learning with classmates of the same age 
• varied and interesting age-appropriate topics and activities to keep your child interested throughout  

Your child will also be encouraged to develop creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills in a relaxed environment where they can be themselves. They will: 

• work in groups or pairs to practise speaking, problem-solving and collaborating on projects with a focus on familiar and real-world topics 
• build resilience and get used to communicating and collaborating online with others in preparation for life in a global, digital world

For children who are 10, 11 or 12 by December 2025

Course information: Lessons in the morning will help learners extend their skills and confidence in understanding and using English, with a strong emphasis on speaking. Each week’s lessons are based around a motivating topic, with lots of hands-on fun projects and tasks. In the afternoon there will be a variety of activities and topics, including for example, quizzes, games, experiments and story reading.  

• Time: 25 h per week, 5 hours per day
• Classes: 10.00-1300 
• Afternoon activities: 14.00-16.00
• Drop off between 09.00-10.00, pick up between 16.00-18.00

Join our summer course and your teenage child will enjoy dynamic lessons on real-life topics that prepare them for a global world. 

With our expert teachers, they will:

• gain confidence in speaking English with their teacher and fellow classmates 
• develop their communication skills by working on projects in pairs and small teams 
• focus on real-world contemporary topics  

For children who are 13 or over by December 2025

Join our First or Advanced exam preparation course to help your child prepare to do their very best in the exam.
