GETTING HERE     

British Council Miraflores is located in the ground floor of block of apartments in a quiet, residential square, away from busy traffic.

Algés train station is 1.70m away.

750/751 bus stop is 450m away.

748 bus stop is 450m away.

DROP OFF

We have a drop-off point in front of the building.

This drop-off point is 10m from Miraflores main entrance.

This same drop-off point can also be used by visitors with disabilities. Please contact us before your visit so that we can arrange this.

You can order an accessible taxi from Multitáxis-Rádio Táxis de Oeiras.

Book preferably a day (or as far as possible) in advance.

PARKING

British Council Miraflores has a public pay-and-display car park in front of the building.

MAIN ENTRANCE   

You can access the British Council Miraflores building in Largo Maria Leonor via the main road Avenida Norton de Matos.

INSIDE THE BUILDING

SECURITY CHECK

As you enter the building you will need to go through a security check.

If you are a student with a British Council membership card, you will need to display this.

RECEPTION

At the reception to the right, there is a counter and a customer service desk.

Our staff will be happy to help if you require any assistance.

Guide dogs are welcome.

BUILDING OVERVIEW  

British Council Miraflores is on one level, with wide corridors accessible to visitors using wheelchairs.

CLASSROOMS

All seven classrooms are accessible.

These classrooms are equipped with computers and tablets with standard Windows accessible tools.

MEETING ROOMS

There is small meeting room, but has no access for wheelchair users. 

ACCESSIBLE TOILET    

There are three accessible toilets. 

Only one is suitable for people using wheelchairs.

The width of the toilet door is 87cm. It is a sliding door.
