I have been teaching English since 1999 in Portugal, Spain and in the UK, and have taught students of all ages and levels over the years. I enjoy learning languages myself and want my students to enjoy the experience of learning English with me.
I recently completed the Trinity Young Learner Extension Certificate and NILE online Master's module in Materials Development for Language Education to add to my Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults. I have also just taken on the role of Coordinator for adult courses in Porto, so I am certainly keeping myself busy!
In what little free time I do have I love watching football and I try to get to see my local team at the Estádio do Dragão as often as I can, and I watch my beloved Liverpool FC on the television at home. I also love reading, both fiction and non-fiction, catching the odd movie, and playing with my kids.
